Creative Skill Builders camp

Join creative skill builders summer camp! The 4-day skill builders camp will combine art therapy techniques, mindfulness-based strategies, yoga, nature-based experiences and therapeutic games. Daily camp experiences will foster self-awareness, increase self-expression, create opportunities to expand social skills, increase body awareness, explore positive and negative feelings, as well as develop coping strategies. This is a therapeutic educational camp program designed to enhance emotional literacy skills.

Outcomes of participating in this camp include an increased sense of confidence in expressing oneself, practice with perspective taking, and skill building through creativity and mindfulness. This fun and interactive camp will provide explicit opportunities to practice healthy social skill development through a variety of modalities: play, art, team-building activities, cooperative games, role-playing, yoga and movement activities.

During the camp participants will work to create their own skill builder tool bag to bring home at the conclusion of camp. The skills tool bag will provide participants with a tangible reminder of their time at CSB camp. All art/yoga/mindfulness materials are included with the camp.
