Homeschool Science Investigators (Ages 11–14)
Water Quality Detectives

Test a pond, stream, or other water source
pH, temperature, turbidity, dissolved oxygen, and possibly macroinvertebrates
Students can determine whether the water provides a healthy habitat

Explore, investigate, and connect with fellow homeschool students in Homeschool Science Investigators! This program combines hands-on science learning with opportunities for students to build friendships and enjoy social time with peers.

Each class will feature a new science topic explored through experiments, investigations, discussions, and real-world applications. Students will practice scientific thinking through observation, problem-solving, and discovery while working together with other young scientists.

Beyond the science, students will have time to connect through group activities, science-based games, outdoor exploration, and hikes around PMEC. Homeschool Science Investigators is designed to provide a balance of learning, collaboration, and community for middle school students.

* We will need a minimum of 6 students
* If weather allows all classes will have an element of outdoor time.
