The Silver Shield - Resilience for Seniors

This workshop focuses on helping seniors navigate the big transitions - like retirement or health changes- with more confidence and social connection. It's really about turning life's "what now?" moments into "what's next?" While designed for seniors this workshop can help anyone looking to increase their resilience and balance in a chaotic world.

Meet The Instructors;
Lesley Tolman- Lesley has had a varied professional life, including many years as an IT director in higher ed, fundraising, and as a small business owner. Her most recent incarnation is certified coach, where she teaches happiness classes, speaks on various issues of human flourishing, and works with individual clients to identify and pursue possibilities for greater life satisfaction and meaning. She has a BA from Wellesley, MBA from Simmons and has given talks nationally on topics ranging from computer networking to the Zen of project management.

Clare McCully - Clare was a frontline fundraiser for more than 30 years in the Greater Boston area, serving as Chief Development Officer, Vice President of Advancement and Executive Director for various non-profits in higher education, education, healthcare, environmental and social impact institutions. She has led several successful capital campaigns as well as unrestricted giving. Clare received the 2005 Community Cornerstone Award for Educational Fundraising from Women in Development of Greater Boston. She served on WID’s Board, as well as CASE D1 Board and Cabinet. She has been a Senior Consultant for Graham-Pelton, advising on feasibility studies and capital campaigns. She was a Managing Director at Aspen Leadership Group, overseeing more than 60 searches for C-Suite roles for a variety of non-profits. She holds Advanced Certification in Coaching Practice from the Association of Coaching.
