The Art of Brain Building - (November)

Come join us afterschool for a fun and creative way to learn about executive functioning skills and explore how our brain skills work together to support us in daily life. This educational therapeutic class will incorporate art therapy techniques and executive functioning coaching to support participants to build and enhance these life skills. Examples of executive functioning skills include focus, organization, time management, emotional regulation, planning/problem solving and more. Each monthly session will incorporate education on how our brain works, target a specific skill (see below) and use art projects, hands on learning, executive functioning curriculums, therapeutic games and visuals to reinforce learning and practice. All materials are included with the class. Participants will bring home all items created at the end of each session for continued practice.
